פארק אגם הפרפרים גדל ומתפתח יחד עם הסביבה. הפארק הוקם כחלק ממיזם של חברת
קליל, בשיתוף עיריית כרמיאל ודובי בנימיני - מומחה עולמי לפרפרים.
הפארק נפרש על פני שטח של 15 דונם וכולל 3 אגמים - אחד קבוע והשניים האחרים עונתיים - שאוספים מי גשמים.
למרות שתכנון הצמחייה בפארק הושלם ברובו באביב 2021, ניתן לראות את התפתחות הפארק כתהליך מתמשך, כאשר כל דבר גדל ומתפתח בקצב הטבעי שלו.
